PROFINET I/O Developers Course

The PROFIBUS Interface Center (PIC) in Johnson City, Tennessee is offering an intensive two day PROFINET IO Developers' Class, targeted at developers who want to design PROFINET IO into their products.

The PROFINET IO software is available in a development kit from Siemens. It contains an example implementation for a NetSilicon NET+ARM 50 processor. The software can also be ported to other processors. The class includes multiple live demonstrations, including the PROFINET IO software application example running on a NetSilicon development board.

As an additional benefit, this event is offered free of charge for a limited time.

PTO GA Meeting General Assembly Meeting

The annual PTO General Assembly Meeting will be held Aug. 2-5 in Scottsdale, AZ. This year the meeting will feature break-out sessions for Marketing, Technology, and Applications. There may be an End User Council breakout session also. There will still be joint sessions and evening activities to allow for the very important information exchange and networking opportunities.


ISA EXPO 2005

The PTO will unveil a new booth design at ISA 2005 in Chicago, scheduled for October 25-27. The booth will be 1600 square feet (40' X 40') and will be located directly at the entrance to McCormick's East Hall.
